Surveyors Registry Project
This project is developing and commercialising a system of single-point-of-entry access to registries of interests in land and property across Australia. Designed to access datasets about interests in property that are not recorded in government registries as well as high-demand databases from governments and other sources, in all jurisdictions. Many such databases currently exist, distributed across private databases, local government databases, utilities’ databases and the departmental or agency registries of the federal and eight state and territory governments.
The registry will meet the 21st century needs of land professionals, property owners, the financial service industry, developers, governments, the broad community and many others. It is intended to be progressively extended to provide access to a wider set of databases.
